One of my all-time favourite architects was the late Zaha Hadid. Her passion and exploration of forms and site were something that has always struck me as amazing. She was “preoccupied with changing our general notions of space – not only in a physical sense, but also socially and culturally” (Zaha Hadid Architect. Arcspace.com). This is a benchmark for my evolution in architecture, to not only design for a physical sense but socially and culturally. “Architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a space … On the one hand it’s about shelter, but it’s also about pleasure.” – Zaha Hadid
