James is a Senior Architectural Technologist and Contract Administrator with extensive experience coordinating consultant documentation and supporting construction phases across a wide range of project types. He is driven by the knowledge that his work contributes to environments that support the way people live, learn, and gather. Whether reviewing drawings or conducting site visits, James values being part of a process that shapes meaningful spaces for communities across Western Canada.

James approaches each project with a calm, attentive mindset. He listens first and contributes with intention, offering his perspective when it can strengthen the outcome. His collaborative style helps create a work environment where communication flows easily between teams and disciplines.

Outside the office, James is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys stargazing, cooking, playing guitar, woodworking, drawing, painting, reading, fossil hunting, and tending to his garden. A fun fact about James is that he does not use social media. 

One of his guiding principles comes from Albert Einstein: “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough to teach others.”
