As an Architectural Technologist, Aaron approaches each task with genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn. In his role, he supports the development of construction drawings and enjoys the problem solving involved in turning real-world constraints into clear, buildable solutions.
Aaron thrives in ACI’s open, conversational production environment, where questions are encouraged and ideas move freely. The steady collaboration within the team has played a meaningful role in his growth, giving him insight into both the technical and interpersonal sides of architectural practice. Aaron values being part of a studio where learning happens in real time and communication helps drive better outcomes. One of his favourite rituals in the office is the Monday Starbucks run, which adds a bright spot to an otherwise busy day.
Aaron’s approach to his work centers on teamwork and proactive communication. He appreciates the guidance and support he receives and enjoys contributing his own enthusiasm to group problem solving. Growing up with a love for sketching, colouring, and figuring out how things fit together, he sees architecture as a place where artistic expression meets practical challenges.
Outside of work, Aaron nurtures a strong connection to nature. He has a well-known green thumb and keeps a variety of plants at his desk, from bonsai to succulents to flower bulbs he hopes will bloom by summer. His personal motto reflects his cheerful outlook: “You’ve gotta make your own kind of music.” – Cass Elliot
